Nursing newborns, running to play dates, heading to the office, sports practice, and throwing dinner into the crock pot. Does any of this sound familiar to you? As mamas, there are so many things that we accomplish in any given day for our families. The one thing we all lack is more time. Most especially time for ourselves and time to get ready for the day.
As a mom of a toddler and a baby, most days I am lucky if I am able to get out of my sweatpants and brush my hair. Can I get an, amen? I realize this season goes by so quickly. But I also want to look cute while living it. I feel so much better when I am dressed and ready for the day.

I’ve put together five simple and stylish summer outfits that can be ready on a moments notice. I want to share them with you, dear mamas. I hope this might inspire you to feel and look your best this summer.
The Casual Play Date
Raise your hand if you know about biker shorts? Do I bike? No, but these comfy yet casual shorts are quickly becoming my summer version of yoga pants. Pair these with a cute tee and some simple tennis shoes and you’ve got a stellar outfit that’s perfect for any play date.
The Girlfriend Hour
Let’s face it mamas, sometimes we only get an hour or so to catch up with with girlfriends over coffee or a quick drink. As a nursing mama, I’m often racing out the door on a weekend knowing that I’ll need to be back in a few hours to feed my little one. A simple black or neutral colored tee paired with white washed jeans and Birkenstock knock off sandals? Just the ticket for some time to catch up with the girls.
The Date Night
Date nights are few and far between. But when they do happen, I want to look sexy but also be comfortable. Enter: The Romper. Whether pants or shorts, rompers are so comfy and perfect for a summer evening date night. This peekaboo back romper adds a little flirtiness and some extra spice to the evening.
The Everyday Wear
My new “go to” summer outfit is linen shorts and a bodysuit tank. Linen shorts are light and breathable and bodysuit tanks are very flattering. Pair this outfit with some cute sandals and you’ve got something that can be worn any day of the week.
The Just for Fun
There’s nothing that I love more than a loose-fitting feminine top that can be worn with jean shorts or pants depending on your preference. Whether heading to a brewery with the family or a Saturday morning soccer game, this outfit is sure to make you feel pretty and ready to relax or cheer on your favorite team.

The best part about these outfits is that they won’t break the bank. Most of my clothes are from Target or Gap Outlet. They are also interchangeable, so you can mix and match these styles to make more combinations. These outfits are paired together in my closet and ready to grab when I only have five minutes to get ready.
Exhausted? Short on time? No problem, mamas, with these outfits you can still look cute and feel great.
