Or maybe you need to leave your house ALONE and do something for yourself. Like buy yourself a fancy coffee.

Bristol Donuts
ABQ Mom Recommendation: Bristol Doughnuts has vegan donuts and dairy-free coffee that I LOVE. Super delicious.
Castle Coffee
With multiple locations serving all of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, Castle coffee is local, convenient, and one to make sure you don’t miss.
Goose Nest
ABQ Mom Recommendation: The Goose Nest is my husband’s and [my] go-to quick breakfast spot. Coffee, vegan pastries & breakfast sandwiches, and they have a super open ambience, filled with games to play with the family.
Humble Coffee
Whether you want to sit for a local brew, or grab an Airpot to take to the office and share, Humble has something for everyone!
Little Bear Coffee
A local favorite since 2018, Little Bear now has 4 locations and an incredible menu. If you happen by the Nob Hill location, they even have a bar, open in the evenings.
ABQ Mom Recommendation: Little Bear in Sawmill is great, with an outside play area for kids.
Meraki
ABQ Mom Recommendation: My favorite is Meraki in the NE Heights. It has delicious coffee, my favorite pastries in town, and a patio space in nice weather.
Michael Thomas Coffee Roaster
A local favorite since 2004, Michael Thomas Coffee is a family-run business and a staple. You can get a coffee subscription delivered to your door, and they also offer online ordering with curbside pickup options. Perfect for the mom on the go!
Napoli Coffee
If you have ever scrolled Instagram in Albuquerque, chances are that you have seen the coffee flights offered at Napoli. They also have a great food menu and some great local gifts. And some very Instagrammable coffee.
O’Beans Coffee
Both a coffee house and a coffee cruiser, O’Beans has some incredible options, and even scones and donuts.
Poulin Marketplace
If you like coffee and shopping for home decor, this is your place. Not only do they have a gorgeous selection of home items, but they also have a delicious coffee shop. It’s a mama’s dream!
Rust Is Gold
Rust is Gold might be the most unique theming of a coffee shop. If Motorcycle culture and coffee are your thing, you will fit right in! Even if motorcycles aren’t your thing, the coffee is worth the stop! My personal favorite? The honey lavender latte.
Satellite Coffee
If you ever need to find the ABQ Mom team, chances are, one of us is holed up in a Satellite, or their sister, Flying Star. They are all over town, and the coffee is to die for. If you are a fall drink girlie, like me, you do need to go get a pumpkin pie latte.
Sueños Coffee
ABQ Mom Recommendation: Suenos Coffee is my mom haven! They have indoor seating and outdoor seating with a closed-in area so the kids can run free! Makes it stress-free. Their fresh, homemade pastries are impossible to resist, and the seasonal drink flights mean I never have to choose just one flavor a day!
Trifecta Coffee Company
Trifecta boasts unique “bartender-style cocktail recipes with espresso and coffee.” A coffee and tonic? Count me in. Even better, they have mobile ordering and curbside pickup available, making your morning commute a little easier.
Villa Myriam Coffee
Coffee, tea, delicious food, and an incredible atmosphere, Villa Myriam is a must!
Westside
Blackbird Coffee
ABQ Mom Recommendation
Blackbird Coffee House in Old Town! You know when you have a coffee without all the bells and whistles and it just tastes “GOOD”? That’s what their coffee is to me. Whenever I try a new coffee shop, I always get a vanilla latte. That’s my classic favorite. When I try a new coffee shop and their vanilla latte tastes good, like it’s just “good coffee”, I’ll be back for more! They also have a super cute shop that is very nice to spend time in!
The BREW
With a unique menu of signature lattes, a full menu of classics, a slow bar, teas, and some yummy toast options, The BREW has something for everyone!
Central Grill
ABQ Mom Recommendation
Golden Crown Panaderia and Central Grill are two great local spots for coffee. At either place, ask if they still have the white mocha and raspberry syrups because it’s such a great combo! Central Grill has a drive-thru thru and I’ve enjoyed both their breakfast and lunch, and while it can feel cold in the winter, they do have heaters on the patio. Golden Crown is a smaller space inside if kids are running around, but they also have outdoor seating. I love their apricot and raspberry empanadas, their original and blue corn biscochitos, and their green chile bread is amazing too. And the most fun part, Golden Crown even has a vending machine outside with their products, including biscochitos, and kids will love pushing the buttons to see their treats come out!
Cup of Cozy
ABQ Mom Recommendation
Cup of Cozy (has drive-thru if ordering on app, also has kid menu with floats and stuff).
Cutbow Coffee
ABQ Mom Recommendation
My favorite would have to be Cutbow! It’s on Rio Grande just north of the 40. They also do a special roast for Los Poblanos, which is another place I love to go for a coffee if I am down that way!
Espresso Fino
Enjoy the charming atmosphere of this downtown gem, quietly satisfying world-class tastes at small-town prices.

Java Joe’s
Hot drinks, iced drinks, and incredible breakfast or lunch options, Java Joe’s has been a local staple for over 20 years.
La Luz
ABQ Mom Recommendation: My young adult son introduced me to this North Valley spot, so you know it has to be cool. It’s very welcoming and a great place to work. My daughter loves their Campo hot chocolate. It comes with a toasted marshmallow and a graham cracker.
Pinon Coffee House
ABQ Mom Recommendation
Our go-to is Pinon Coffee House. We order the bags online to brew at home, but we also love going in-store for their pastries and lattes. They all have drive-thru, too. My favorite flavor of theirs is Peppermint Bark, so I always stock up since it’s seasonal.
Plata Coffee
They don’t just have coffee. They also have food and some fun events! Located on 2nd street, they are easy to get to, and you can even order for pickup.
Rise + Roast
They have an incredible coffee menu, some yummy and unique donuts, and even a drive-through. Making this an easy choice for your morning commute, or an afternoon pick-me-up. They have multiple locations throughout Albuquerque and the surrounding areas.
Zendo Coffee
Although I am sold on Zendo knowing they are a woman-owned and operated coffee shop, they are so much more. They are a coffee shop with a passion for all things local, and even have monthly art shows and curated events.
Surrounding Areas
Cabra Coffee: Cedar Crest
ABQ Mom Recommendation
I recommend Cabra Coffee in Cedar Crest. It’s perfect for right after (or before) a hike in the Sandias. The patio is lovely and peaceful.
Cafe Bella Coffee: Rio Rancho
Whether you’re seeking a quiet moment to enjoy a book, gathering with friends for an afternoon chat, or celebrating a life milestone, Cafe Bella Coffee has been the backdrop to countless cherished experiences.
The Farm Stand: Corrales
ABQ Mom Recommendation
I recently tried The Farm Stand in Corrales. The coffee was great, they sell local farm fresh produce, and have a beautiful, large patio area. The day I went, they were roasting green chile, and the smell was amazing. The vibes were 10/10.

You guys missed The Burrow over on the Eastside. They moved there after I moved and they have some of the best coffee and fantastic staff.
Catalyst Coffee truck has the best coffee in town (in my opinion).
