HOPE Christian Preschool

Parenting is heart work!  And entrusting your precious little ones to someone else all day can be a daunting concept.  Spacious, natural-light-filled learning spaces with in-class bathrooms, a separate preschool playground, loving teachers, in-classroom security cameras, and armed security personnel are all reasons families love HOPE as a safe, nurturing place for their children to begin a lifelong love of learning!

With a student-teacher ratio of 12:1, our 3 and 4 year olds receive the attention they need to develop academically, socially, and spiritually. Hands-on learning centers develop both fine and gross motor skills. Daily reading time, singing songs, and interactive lessons help students develop critical thinking and social skills, all in a Christ-centered, values-driven environment.

They offer full-day 3 and 5 day per week options for three year old students. Their four year old program is full time, 5 days per week. Both offer extended care before and after school on a secure campus.

HOPE Christian Preschool is located inside their beautiful Elementary facility, where preschool graduates may continue their grade school years, and move on to the neighboring HOPE Christian Middle, and High School campuses for 6th – 12th grades. HOPE is ranked the #1 Best Private K-12 School in Albuquerque by Niche and Winner of Albuquerque the Magazine’s Best of the City (Private School category) for 2025.

Christina Kent Early Childhood Center

Christina Kent Early Childhood Center is rooted in our community, founded in 1919 to serve Downtown Albuquerque with family focused child care.

Choosing child care is one of the most personal decisions a family makes. At Christina Kent Early Childhood Center (CKECC), families find more than a program—they find a place that feels deeply connected to the children and families it serves.

CKECC is a community-based early childhood center grounded in relationships, respect, and responsiveness. Inspired by Reggio Emilia principles, children are seen as capable, curious learners whose ideas matter. Teachers carefully observe children’s interests and use them to guide projects, conversations, and learning experiences. Art, storytelling, building, and exploration are not extras here—they are essential languages children use to express themselves and make sense of the world.

Classrooms feel calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, with natural materials and open-ended spaces that invite curiosity. Learning often happens in small moments: a group of children studying shadows on the playground, a conversation sparked by a story, or a collaborative block structure that turns into a weeks-long project.

Relationships are at the heart of everything. Teachers take time to truly know each child and family, creating a sense of safety and belonging that allows children to thrive. Social-emotional learning is woven into the day, helping children build empathy, confidence, and problem-solving skills through respectful guidance rather than punishment.

CKECC is proud to serve local families and to be part of the fabric of the community. Families are welcomed as partners, voices are valued, and inclusion is intentional. Parents often say what stands out most is how deeply their child is known—and how supported they feel as a family.

At Christina Kent Early Childhood Center, children are honored, learning is meaningful, and community comes first.
