The mental load of motherhood is the invisible work of managing a household and family, often referred to as cognitive labor. It’s not just physical tasks. But it’s overseeing tasks, delegating, scheduling, and following up.

Mental Load” has become a bit of a buzzword lately as we realize the importance of the invisible jobs that mothers traditionally take on whether they work outside the house or not. Vanessa and Becca discuss what this can look like in different household situations and what you can do about it. We laugh and joke but also offer real-life advice to help you manage that invisible load and hopefully make it a little lighter.
