It’s starting to feel like Fall, school is back in session, and our calendars are filling up with kids’ activities. This also means your kids are probably neck-deep in homework, and you have to make sure you don’t miss any of the emails coming from the school. It’s more important than ever to be connected, and Comcast is here to help you do just that!

With Comcast, you could even qualify for FREE internet!

Comcast offers two amazing programs to help you stay connected, especially in the back-to-school madness.

Comcast Internet Essentials provides affordable home internet for qualifying households. In addition, they offer low-cost computers, free WiFi hotspots, and even internet training. If you qualify for programs like the Federal Pell Grant, National School Lunch Program, SNAP, Medicaid, housing assistance, and others, you may qualify for Internet Essentials.

Through the federal government’s Affordable Connectivity Program, lower-income households can connect to the internet and stay connected. The program provides eligible customers of participating broadband providers up to a $30 per month credit toward internet and mobile services.

Do I qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program?

You are eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program discounts if your entire household income is at or below twice the federal poverty level. Another way to qualify is if your family participates in certain federal assistance programs such as Lifeline, SNAP/EBT, Medicaid, or free and reduced school lunch.
Customers participating in the Affordable Connectivity Program can apply their discount to any tier of Xfinity Internet service. If you sign up for Internet Essentials Plus, which includes 100 Mbps download speeds, a cable modem, and a WiFi router, your service will be free after the government’s ACP credit is applied. Additionally, Xfinity Internet customers participating in ACP now can add mobile service through Xfinity Mobile.

Where can I apply?

You can apply now for Internet Essentials at internetessentials.com. You can choose to automatically enroll in the Affordable Connectivity Program if your family qualifies.
