ABQ Mom aims to share content to keep parents up to date about options in Albuquerque, which is why we partnered with KidStrong to bring you this sponsored article.

I know all too well that there are SO MANY programs for kids out there. It can feel overwhelming at times to figure out what program is a good fit for both your schedule and your child. I get it.

What if I told you that there is a program coming to Albuquerque that is totally unique and backed by science?

KidStrong is a science-based training program that focuses on brain, character, and physical development. KidStrong also helps kids learn how to be confident in themselves, in the classroom, and in making friends. It equips kids, not only with a love for fitness but also with a greater understanding of their body and its abilities. Children who attend KidStrong for one year will be 2+ years ahead of their peers developmentally.

KidStrong is a milestone accelerator for kids of all abilities, from walking age to 11. They use their own “whole child” curriculum and affirmation to help empower kids to be the hero of their own stories.

KidStrong helps your child both in private training centers and at home. In their centers, they have coaches that run classes with custom equipment for KidStrong members. Every coach is a certified KidStrong Coach, and they all have backgrounds in working with children and coaching. They also offer online access to experts and training programs for parents and kids to continue making progress at home.

KidStrong is being brought to Albuquerque by two native New Mexicans.

Bobby and Jessica Montoya have been married for seven years and have two children ages five and two. Bobby has a bachelor’s degree in sports management and his CPT, PES, CES, and YFS from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He has over 10 years of experience in group fitness and over 10 years of experience working with children.

Jessica has her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in education psychology. She also holds a master’s degree in mental health counseling. She has her LPCC with the State of New Mexico. Jessica has 10 years of experience in the counseling field with first responders and their families. She also has over 10 years of experience in working with children, not only in counseling but in developmental settings as well.

They wanted to bring KidStrong to New Mexico because of the uniqueness and science behind the program. They understand the needs of the community and know that KidStrong can help kids in ways that other programs are not able to. Having two kids themselves, they know that children are the focus of most people’s lives. They wanted to provide an opportunity that would not only advance kids physically but also improve their brain and character development. This made KidStrong an easy decision.
