Learning disabilities or learning disorders are umbrella terms for a wide variety of learning problems. These include dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, auditory processing disorder, language processing disorder, visual perceptual/visual motor deficit, and others. In addition, ADHD, while not necessarily a learning disability, can certainly disrupt learning.
No one wants to see their child be frustrated or struggle through school. Children and adults with learning disabilities see, hear, and understand things differently. So use the list below to find your kiddos the help they need. The great news is that children with learning disabilities and ADHD can, and do, succeed.
