ABA Pathways

Abrazos Family Support Services

Family Infant Toddler Early Intervention Services are provided at no cost to families. Early Intervention is a program for families of children from birth to age three who are experiencing a delay in development, have been diagnosed with a disability, or who may have a condition that could cause a significant delay in their development.


Alta Mira Specialized Family Services

Alta Mira Specialized Family Services Inc.’s Early Intervention (EI) services provide families whose child is experiencing a delay in their development or has been diagnosed with a disability or who may be experiencing conditions that could cause a significant delay in their development. Intending to ensure a child reaches their full potential, families receive support and assistance.


Aprendamos Family of Services

Aprendamos Early Intervention provides early intervention services for children and their families who are affected by a developmental delay or disability. Early intervention helps children acquire the skills necessary to grow, learn, and develop to their greatest potential.


Bilingual Multicultural Services

Bilingual Multicultural Services develops and implements therapeutic/educational programs while being sensitive to cultural beliefs. They assist individuals with different abilities to achieve their full potential.


Elevate Early Intervention

Elevate Early Intervention is New Mexico’s local resource for early developmental support. They provide in-home services for infants and toddlers in Socorro and Valencia counties.


EPICS

The New Mexico Family Infant Toddler (FIT) Program provides early intervention services and supports to families of children age birth to three who have or who are at risk for developmental delays or disabilities.

EPICS FIT Program provides information, resources, and education on Early Intervention Services. They also provide Parent-to-Parent Support and Advocacy Training to families of children age birth to three who have or who are at risk for developmental delays or disabilities.

FIT Families

If you or your child’s doctor, childcare, or other provider are concerned about your child’s development, you can make a referral to the Family Infant Toddler (FIT) Program. If you contact the local FIT Provider agency in your county, they will set up a time to meet with you and then complete a developmental evaluation for your child. You will play an important part in your child’s evaluation.


Inspirations

At Inspirations, early intervention services are provided to children from birth to 3 years old with or at risk for having developmental delays or disabilities. Inspirations provides transdisciplinary services in the home or community to address children’s individual needs. Services are provided at no cost to families. Appointments are always available to meet family needs!


La Vida Felicidad

The goal of this Early Childhood program is to help parents or caregivers give their young children the support and stimulation they need.


LifeROOTS

LifeROOTS is an Albuquerque-based organization that provides the community with a broad range of programs and services for children and adults with developmental, physical, and behavioral disabilities. They serve Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and surrounding areas. Their innovative programs and services, led by certified, experienced, and professional staff, assist people with disabilities of all ages to reach their highest levels of self-sufficiency.

Founded in 1958, LifeROOTS was the first organization in the state to treat children with polio and cerebral palsy. The center has evolved into a multi-disciplinary provider of programs and services to children and adults with disabilities. This includes early childhood intervention, therapy, parenting support groups, day habilitation, supported employment, job development, literacy programs, and much more.


Native American Pueblo Parents Resources

Native American Professional Parent Resources (NAPPR) Inc. is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico and was founded in 1982 as a joint project between the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the New Mexico Department of Health. They provide early intervention services to Native American families with young children experiencing developmental delays.


New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired

The New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (NMSBVI) provides statewide direct services to families of young children who have a diagnosed visual impairment or who are considered to be at risk for receiving a VI diagnosis. Services are a partnership with NMSBVI, New Mexico’s Family, Infant, Toddler Program (FIT), and the Navajo Nation. Services are delivered in the family home or in another community environment that supports the child and his/her family.


New Mexico School for the Deaf

Experts agree that the first days, months, and years of a child’s life are the essential foundation for all future learning. Research shows that families who receive early intervention when their child is a baby are less stressed. More importantly, their children are able to maintain typical cognitive and language development.


New Vistas

New Vistas is here to provide guidance and support. They help individuals, families, and friends understand and cope with disabilities. They also assist in increasing well-being, self-reliance, and independence.


PB&J Family Services

CBPIR is a community-based program that serves families with children 0-18 years old. This organization provides services in home and focuses on parent education and case management. PB&J Family Services currently serve in Bernalillo, Sandoval, and Valencia counties.


Presbyterian Ear Institute

Presbyterian Ear Institute (PEI) helps deaf and hard-of-hearing adults and children develop and strengthen auditory and oral communication skills. PEI uses the advanced technology of cochlear implants and/or hearing aids. The world becomes a much bigger place when deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals can participate more fully in all aspects of life.


Prism Autism Services

Early intervention is based around the child’s age and services needed. Early intervention services are provided to infants and toddlers (18 months to age 3) with developmental delays and their families. Research has shown that early intervention can have a significant impact on a child’s ability to learn new skills and increase their success in school and life. Early intervention includes Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Language Therapy, and Occupational Therapy.


UNM CDD Focus Program

The FOCUS Early Intervention Program provides supports and services for families of children aged birth through three years of age. They help children who have developmental delays or are at risk of experiencing delays due to family substance use, family violence, low birth weight, parental mental illness, prematurity, prenatal exposure to drugs and alcohol, and unsupported teen parenting.
