Guide to Plumbers, HVAC & Electrical Repair

HVAC Plumbing Electrical Guide

Every military spouse has heard of something called Murphy’s Law. It’s the idea that as soon as the service member leaves for a deployment, training exercise, or work trip, something will break. Usually something big.

When you’re solo parenting, already at your limit, the water heater will start leaking. Or the air conditioner will go out. Or the toilet will overflow.

I tend to have especially terrible luck with heaters.

Twice now, in Colorado and in Kansas, our heater failed during the coldest weeks of the year. Keeping toddlers warm and safe—with space heaters stationed throughout the house—was not fun.

So you bet when I moved to New Mexico two years ago, I paid close attention to local HVAC, electrical, and plumbing companies to prepare for when Murphy’s Law inevitably struck.

If you’re facing a home emergency due to plumbing, HVAC outages, electrical issues, and more, here are some Albuquerque companies to call.

When choosing a plumber, electrician, or HVAC company, be sure to ask about licensing and insurance, as well as whether the work will need to be inspected or permitted. A solid company will also always provide a written and itemized cost estimate.

TLC ULTIMATE GUIDE LARGE

For nearly 40 years, TLC has been proud to serve New Mexico families not just as a service company, but as a trusted neighbor. Their founder, Dale, started TLC with a simple vision: take care of people and stand behind the work. Dale still leads with that mindset at TLC today.

They know that when something goes wrong in your home, it’s more than just an inconvenience; it’s your comfort, your routine, and your family’s peace of mind. That’s why they focus on making every experience as easy and stress-free as possible. No matter if it is unclogging your toilet, installing new AC, adding some new lights, or fixing your water heater. They want to make sure it’s NO SWEAT.

From their “Make It Right” guarantee to their 1-year parts and labor warranty, they stand behind their work so you don’t have to worry. Whether it’s a quick fix or a bigger project, their goal is simple: show up, do the job right, and take care of the people who trust us.

At the end of the day, they’re not just working in your home: they’re serving our community. And that’s something they take seriously.
