The City of Albuquerque’s Community Safety Department (ACS) and Bernalillo County are proud to announce the first annual Summer of Nonviolence Youth Softball Camp, taking place Monday, August 3 at West Mesa Little League.
The free camp will feature over 100 students from first through eighth grade and will focus on skill-building, fostering teamwork, and promoting a message of peace and respect both on and off the field.
The camp will be led by coaches from Valley High School Softball team, and Rio Rancho Cages.
Each registered participant will receive a free lunch, commemorative “Seasons of Nonviolence” softball, and t-shirt.
