August Family-Friendly Events in Albuquerque

Somehow, summer is almost over and August is here. It’s the month of all things back-to-school, from re-establishing bedtime routines to meeting teachers to figuring out homework again.

But the start of school doesn’t have to mean the end of family fun. Here is our list of family-friendly events in August around the Albuquerque area.

Every August is World Breastfeeding Month, and Lovelace Women’s Hospital is proud to offer lactation education and support during pregnancy, delivery, and after going home. IBCLCs (International Board Certified Lactation Consultants) can be found at both Lovelace Women’s Hospital (LWH) and Lovelace Regional Hospital in Roswell. These breastfeeding experts can support you in the hospital and from home.
