Guide to Vacation Bible School


Hoffmantown Church

  • June 1 – 5, 2026, 9a-12:15p
  • Ages: Kindergarten-5th grade
  • Cost: Free
  • Join them June 1-5 for Illumination Station VBS! Your kids will learn from the Bible about who Jesus says He is! VBS is sure to be a week packed with fun, friends, and a time of learning about God.

Sandia Presbyterian

  • June 8 – 12, 2026, 9a-noon
  • Ages: 3 years old to 5th grade
  • Cost: $25 per child (max $65 per family)
  • Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God. They’ll explore what it means to be rooted in relationship with God, their creator, a safe place in life’s storms.

Calvary Kids

  • June 8 – 12, 2026, 9a-12:30p
  • Ages: Entering kindergarten through entering sixth grade
  • Cost: $20
  • Step into Rainforest Falls and discover the true nature of our all-knowing Creator with Calvary Kids VBS 2026. Join them Monday-Friday, June 8-12, from 9 am until 12:30 pm at their Osuna campus. Kiddos will learn how Jesus is a safe place in every storm, and that His faithful love endures forever—a truth that never changes. Registration is $20. Space is limited, so please be sure to fill out the registration form completely for each child. Registration ends Friday, May 29.

Legacy Church

  • June 8 – 10, 2026
  • Cost: $70
  • Ages: 6-11
  • Kids will saddle up for a three-day Western adventure where they’ll journey through rugged terrain, discover God’s truth, and learn how following Jesus guides them through every season of life. No matter where life’s trail leads, God is with them every step of the way.


St. John’s United Methodist

  • June 8-12
  • Ages: 3 years old to rising 5th grade
  • $40 (sibling discounts available)
  • Theme: True North: Jesus is our true north! They’ll help provide kids with a rock-solid foundation by pointing them to Jesus. The True North program takes kids on an ultimate Alaskan adventure. As they trek, they’ll discover how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Guiding them towards Jesus, True North VBS reveals that He is a faithful friend we can always trust.


Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

  • June 15 – 19, 2026
  • Ages: Pre-K4 to 5th grade
  • Cost: $25
  • For kids: At Rainforest Falls, kids explore the nature of God—discovering who God is and how much he loves them! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one of-a-kind Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies, and test out sciency-fun experiments they’ll never forget. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings.
  • Teen VBS: June 8-12. Cost: $25. Rainforest plants are a source of lifesaving medicine. And rainforests are often called “the lungs of the planet,” purifying the air we breathe. Rainforests are a refuge, rich and restorative. They’re life-giving and lifesaving. A bit like God.

Netherwood Park Church of Christ

  • June 15 – 19, 2026
  • Ages: PreK to 6th grade
  • Vacation Bible School at Netherwood Park is for kids going into Pre-K 4 through 6th grade. It’s from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Friday. This summer’s theme is Building Faith.

Refuge Church

  • June 16 – 19, 2026
  • Ages: PreK to 5th grade
  • Save the Date for VBS this summer! This is going to be a fun-filled week for kids to get to know each other and also learn some amazing stories about Jesus. This journey will be a 4-day (9am-12pm) Vacation Bible School adventure full of Bible lessons, songs, crafts, and games for Pre-K-5th graders.

New Covenant Church

  • June 3 – 5, 2026
  • Ages: 3 years old to incoming 7th graders
  • Cost: $10
  • Glow Zone VBS is coming to NCC June 3-5 from 9am to 12pm each day! Children ages 3 year to incoming 7th graders are invited to come learn what it means to “shine a light on who Jesus really is.” It’s going to be an incredible 3 days of glow worship parties, incredible skits, Bible verse memorization, and small group discussions! Click HERE to register and don’t forget to invite your friends!


Charity Baptist Church

  • June 21 – 25, 2026
  • Ages: 5-13
  • Join us for a journey through Ireland in Emerald Crossing, where Psalm 23 comes to life! Kids will explore God as Shepherd, Guide, Comforter, Provider, and King through the Biblical account of David’s life. To reinforce these truths, they will also enjoy hands-on activities, exciting games, and yummy snacks.

St. Luke

  • June 22 – 26, 2026
  • Ages: 5+
  • Vacation Bible Day Camp is a summer ministry that enriches the lives of young congregation members (ages 5+) and reaches out to the community to better the lives of those around us. Each year, there is a camp theme that is picked by Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp. Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp is an outreach ministry of the Rocky Mountain Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. In partnership with camp staff and congregation volunteers, they provide a week of day camp fun. Each day starts with songs and activities focused on the yearly theme. During the day, campers attend Bible study, play games, make arts and craft projects, eat snacks, relax during lunch, take field trips, and do service projects.


Eastern Hills Baptist Church

  • June 15 – 19, 2026
  • Ages: Outgoing kindergarteners to outgoing 5th graders
  • Cost: Free
  • Eastern Hills, Anchor North, and Anchor East join together to bring you VBS 2026: Illumination Station! VBS is open to all kids who have COMPLETED Kindergarten through 5th grade in the 2025-2026 school year.

St. Jude

  • June 22 – 26, 2026
  • Ages: Kindergarten to 8th grade
  • Cost: $25
  • Bernalillo County will be providing breakfast and lunch.
  • Vacation Bible School is a week-long summer program hosted at the parish to teach children biblical principles through interactive activities featuring games, music, crafts, and skits to engage children in faith formation. 


New City Church

  • June 22 – 26, 2026
  • Ages: Incoming kindergartener to incoming 6th grader
  • Cost: Free, includes grab-and-go breakfast & lunch daily
  • They’re already looking ahead to the best week of summer! New City Kids Camp is a high-energy, faith-based day camp where kids laugh, make friends, and grow in their faith through games, music, small groups, and hands-on fun. This year’s theme: Kingdom Quest. Kids will embark on an epic journey to discover God’s Kingdom — learning who Jesus is, how He invites us to follow Him, and how His light guides us every day.

Sagebrush Church

  • June 16 – 18, 2026, morning and afternoon sessions
  • Ages: Kindergarten to 5th grade
  • Cost: $40
  • Over three exciting days, XCAMPers will explore all six pieces of God’s armor and uncover how each one helps us face life’s challenges with God’s strength. Morning and afternoon sessions available.

Grace Church

  • July 6 – 11, 2026
  • Ages: PreK to 5th grade
  • Cost: Free
  • Traditionally called VBS (Vacation Bible School), this week is full of fun events for kids and ends with a party for the whole family.

Desert Springs Church

  • July 13-17, 2026
  • The focus and goal of VBS is the pursuit of knowing Christ for the sake of His name, for His glory, honor and worship, and for the eternal joy of all who will repent and believe in the gospel. Children entering kindergarten through students who have just completed 5th grade can attend.

St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church

  • June 8-12, 2026
  • Ages: Pre-K through 5th grade
  • Cost: Free
  • Kids will embark on an Alaskan adventure where glowing northern lights, rushing rivers, and icy glaciers set the stage for discovering that Jesus is our True North—a faithful friend we can always trust. Each day, children travel with their small “crews” through engaging activity stations, sing fun and faith-filled songs, and experience the daily Bible message through hands-on activities designed to help them learn, grow, and make new friends. Registration is now open!

Prince of Peace

  • Likely July 13 – 17, 2026 (Exact dates TBD)
  • Cost: $20 materials fee
  • This Vacation Gospel School (VGS) will include Bible, rosary, music, saints, crafts, and some short experiences of Eucharistic Adoration.

Sandia Baptist Church

  • June 13-15, 2026
  • More information to come.

First Baptist Church of West Albuquerque

  • June 15-18, 2026
  • Ages: Completed kindergarten through sixth grade
  • Cost: Free
  • The theme is Illumination Station™. During VBS, kids will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals while discovering that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world!

Believer’s Center Church

  • June 22-25
  • Ages: 3-12 years old
  • Cost: Free
  • Kids Con is an exciting, high-energy experience designed for agents to have fun, build friendships, and discover that with God, every mission is possible. This year’s spy-themed adventure will transform each day into a top-secret operation filled with action, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Lunch is provided daily.

Vertical Church

  • July 13-17, 2026
  • Ages: Completed PreK-5th grade students
  • Cost: Free
  • Children Pre-K – 5th Grade (going into 6th grade) are invited to attend this Vacation Bible School! This will be an incredible time of fun, gospel-centered community, and interactive lessons.

Citizen Church

  • June 29-July 1, 2026
  • Ages: 3 to incoming 5th grader
  • Cost: $40
  • A three-day camp for kids ages 3 through incoming 5th grade, packed with fun, faith, and friendship! Each day, kids will enjoy engaging Bible stories, upbeat worship, games, and hands-on activities in a safe, age-appropriate environment. It’s the perfect way for kids to grow in their faith, make new friends, and have an unforgettable summer experience.

Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church

  • June 15-18, 2026, 5:30-8 p.m.
  • Ages 3-5th grade
  • Blast Off! We are embarking on an expedition to explore God who created the heavens and the earth, who placed each star above and knows it’s name and who loves us so much that He sent His son to die for us so that we can become children of God and have eternal life.

Tramway Community Church

  • July 20-24, 2026
  • Ages 4 years old to entering 6th grade, 8:30 a.m.-noon
  • Cost: $10 (includes snacks and T-shirt)
  • Come join us for Vacation Bible School at Tramway Community Church! Spend the week learning what it means to be planted in Christ with Bible lessons, music, service projects, games, and more! We will end the week with a Friday fun day featuring water activities, bouncy houses and more! Be sure to register early and invite a friend! We can’t wait for this year’s VBS!

Faith Lutheran Church 

  • June 1-5, 2026, 9 a.m.-noon or full-day option 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Grades K-5
  • Cost: Free for half day, optional donation for full day
  • Journey through Ireland in Emerald Crossing, where Psalm 23 comes to life! Kids will explore God as Shepherd, Guide, Comforter, Provider, and King through David’s story, hands-on activities, and apologetics. From Donegal’s green pastures to Dublin’s Viking history, each day reveals how God leads, protects, and provides. Join the adventure!

  • Ages 2-6 with a parent from 5-7:30 p.m.
  • Ages 6-14 6-8:30 p.m.
  • Cost: Free. Snacks included.
  • Registration is in person at the door. Jesus is a faithful friend we can always trust. Join us for the Ultimate Alaskan adventure where Northern lights shine over rushing rivers, majestic mountains, and grand glaciers.  True North VBS is about pointing kids to Jesus.
