Cardboard City – Loma Colorado Library
Build big and watch as it all comes crashing down! Use boxes, art supplies, and imagination to design a cardboard metropolis complete with skyscrapers, roads, and “code-approved” building sections. Once construction wraps up, a prehistoric visitor arrives to stomp, smash, and topple the city in spectacular fashion. Today’s ruins are tomorrow’s archaeological discoveries!

Visitors can search the night sky and explore the solar system in the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science’s portable planetarium system, provided by The Albuquerque Astronomical Society. Audience responses guide the content of the live show, with choices ranging from flying to planets or gazing at constellations. For ages 3+. Limited to 35 participants.
