Desiree Lapahie
Desiree Lapahie is a born and raised NM native. She grew up in the small community of Naschitti on the Navajo reservation. In 2018, Desiree and her son moved from the reservation to the Albuquerque area. She serves as the data analyst at an American Indian nonprofit. She enjoys crafting, sewing, karaoke, and binge-watching Netflix. After work, you can find her at your local karaoke bar, singing her heart out to any George Strait song or killing Truth Hurts by Lizzo. She enjoys learning new things and having new adventures.
