Is your kid the type who lights up at all things techy or robotic? Or do you have a budding doctor or nurse on your hands? Whatever the case, you won’t want to miss this exciting (and totally free!) summer event.
Mark your calendars for the Lovelace Robotic Surgery Experience happening Thursday, July 17, from 12–4 p.m. at Lovelace Women’s Hospital (4701 Montgomery Blvd NE).
This hands-on event is open to kids and grown-ups of all ages. It’s an opportunity to:
-
Test-drive real surgical robots. (Yes, the same ones used in operating rooms!)
-
Talk with surgeons and nurses about what it’s like to use robotic technology to help patients heal.
-
Enjoy games, giveaways, refreshments, and even dress-up gear, like kid-sized t-shirts and scrubs.
This event is not only packed with fun. It’s also an amazing chance to inspire young minds to explore healthcare, technology, and the incredible world of robotic surgery.
The Lovelace Women’s Hospital Robotic Surgery Team will be on hand to answer questions and guide families through this interactive experience.
Whether your child is into STEM, dreaming of becoming a doctor, or just loves cool tech, this event delivers something for everyone.
Some of us from the ABQ Mom team will be there. And we hope to see you too!
