I recently had the pleasure of interviewing UNM’s new head football coach Danny Gonzales and his wife Sandra. While he’s newer to this coaching job, he’s no stranger to Albuquerque. Coach Gonzales was born and raised right here in the Duke City. He played football at UNM and is now so happy to bring his family back home.
While, of course, football is a top priority for Coach Gonzales, his wife and four children certainly take precedence. And together they’ve been enjoying all that Albuquerque has to offer.
Thanks to Coach Gonzales and his family for giving us Albuquerque residents just one more reason to be proud of our community, a top-notch UNM football program. Go Lobos!
