5 Amazing ABQ Food Trucks & Where to Find Them

Nowadays, there are so many different and unique ways to get great take-out food. You can get delivery, go to one of the fun food halls here in town, or a personal favorite, you can visit a food truck! Below are five of our favorite ABQ food trucks and where to find them.

5 Amazing ABQ Food Trucks + Where to Find Them1. ABQ Food Park (Formerly known as Pacific Rim Food Park)

This is a collective of local food trucks that all gather in one central location near the intersection of Louisiana Blvd NE and San Antonio Dr NE. From Japanese to Southern Indian to tacos to dessert, there is a little something for everyone here. The ABQ Food Park is constantly hosting different events and markets. Look at their Instagram for info on upcoming events.

Find them at 6901B San Antonio Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109

2. Mighty Mike’s Meats

Mike at Mighty Mike’s serves up no-frills but delicious barbecue in his award-winning food truck. The brisket, pulled pork, and pork belly are all delicious, but my personal favorite is the brisket green chile quesadilla. I even got some homemade tamales for the holidays from Mike, and they were so good! Mighty Mike’s is often at North Domingo Baca Park on Fridays and Saturdays and at the Rail Yards Market on Sundays.

Find their schedule on Instagram here.

3. Tikka Spice

Tikka Spice specializes in Desi Street Food Fusion with a New Mexican flare. If you are in the mood for butter chicken, chicken tikka tacos, or a green chile cheeseburger, Tikka Spice is the food truck for you. Recently Tikka Spice relocated permanently to the High and Dry Brewery off of Lomas Blvd NE. Find out more and order online here.

Find them at 529 Adams St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108

4. Tacos la Mordida

I couldn’t make this list without including one of the great taco trucks, and Tacos la Mordida is one of the best in town! Get the amazing birria tacos or try something different and get the La Toxica—these come as a pineapple shell with your choice of meat.

Find them most days at the intersection of Juan Tabo Blvd NE and Prospect Ave NE but check out their Instagram for the most up-to-date info.

5. Papa Cano’s Wood-Fired Pizza

Who doesn’t love pizza? My favorite type is always going to be a fresh wood-fired pizza pie, and that is what Papa Cano’s is serving up. This family-run small business makes the classics you would expect, plus the added New Mexico staple of adding green chile to any combo you want. Papa Cano’s often does the brewery circuit at both Marble Downtown and Ex Novo.

Follow them on Instagram to find out where they will be and when.
