Dear Crafters & Social Butterflies, Here’s the #1 Spot for Your Next Night Out!

The Albuquerque Moms Blog team got a chance to check out Dovetail Community Workshop during our holiday party last month. What a fun time!

Dovetail is the place in Albuquerque to learn and do woodworking in a safe, clean, encouraging community environment. You don’t have to buy all those expensive tools and try to squeeze them into your own garage. You don’t even need a garage. Dovetail has all the tools, all the materials, and all the expertise you need!

Some of our team members chose to make Christmas ornaments, and others of us made candle holders. And I’m not gonna lie. We felt pretty fierce after using the giant power tools. So pretty much, we’re gonna conquer the world now.

We agree this would be a perfect night out for individuals who want to improve their woodworking skills. (Memberships are available. Members can go use most of the tools during open hours). It’d also make a great date night. And obviously, it’s a fun girls night out too! Many of us hope to go back and take the cutting board class

After fun with power tools, we took over the lobby with snacks, drinks, and presents! Not to worry. No adult beverages were consumed until after we finished using the power tools.

Many thanks to Blo Blow Dry Bar, Waxing the City, j. box designs, and Ash Ulmer Design for our awesome holiday gifts! Our fabulous team works so hard, and I love showering them with goodies!

We finished up the evening getting our decorating on. Let’s just say that some of us are better at making things beautiful than others. We’ll leave it at that.

We had a great night together and totally recommend you visit Dovetail soon!

A huge thank you to Blooming Images for capturing all the fun of the evening on camera. Breanna from Blooming Images is Albuquerque’s premier maternity and newborn photographer, and we’re in love with her photos.

And just for good measure, more photos of Dovetail’s power tools because WE ARE WOMEN. HEAR US ROAR!

Thanks to Dovetail Community Workshop for hosting the Albuquerque Moms Blog team!
