Abq Moms know that babies don’t keep. They grow into toddlers and then into big kids, and then they keep getting bigger and bigger and bigger. Along the way they move from a crib into a toddler bed into a “big kid” bed and, sometimes, into a “BIG BIG kid bed.”
If you are wondering what to do with cribs and beds that your kids have outgrown and would like to donate them to a good cause, here are five amazing organizations that accept cribs or beds locally.

Your Local Buy Nothing Group
The Buy Nothing Project is a global gift economy network that encourages communities to keep items in use by allowing participants to give unused items freely. You can find a buy nothing group in your community by finding a group on Facebook or in the Buy Nothing App. The best way to learn is to jump in! Post your crib or bed, and you will probably find a neighbor who can use your items. You might even find something you can use!
