DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT: Advance registration required. All adults AND children must be registered in advance to gain admittance to the egg hunt. Walk-up tickets may be available day-of but are not guaranteed. \nJoin us Easter day in the Garden from 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. where “Clover” the Easter Bunny along with staff and volunteers will hide thousands of eggs in the Ojos y Manos Ethnobotanical Garden. \nBring the whole family to the Garden for face painting by Bright Brush\, arts and crafts\, search for colorful eggs and win prizes! There will be plenty of photo opportunities with Clover the Easter Bunny! \nDate: Sunday April 5\, 2026 \nTime: Timed 30-Minute Slots starting at 10:30am\, with the last slot starting at 1:30pm (Please arrive 10 minutes early before your time slot. Due to the nature of timed slots for the egg hunts\, we will be unable to admit late arrivals!) \nLocation: Santa Fe Botanical Garden\, Ojos y Manos: Eyes and Hands Ethnobotanical Garden\, 715 Camino Lejo\, Santa Fe\, 87505 \nCost: \n\nMember: $12\nNot-Yet-Member: $15\nYouth 4-17 $5\nChildren ages 3 & under: $0\, must still register to attend.\n\nRegistration slots occur every 30 minutes.\n\nChildren will have 15 minutes to hunt for as many eggs they can find.\nOnce their 15 minutes are up\, they will turn in their eggs (eggs are plastic and will be reused) to be counted and to pick their prize.\nEggs will be reset for each new group coming in. (Remaining 5 minutes of time slot will be used for prize picking. Everyone will be asked to vacate the area so we can reset for the next group.)\n\nThe first two time slots are reserved for groups with littles only (ages 0-3). DESCRIPTION:Staged in and around the Rio Grande River\, “Laughing doesn’t need your help” a new ensemble performance manifesting our inevitable movement toward each other\, tenderness\, and meaning. Amid the present moment of climate catastrophe\, rapidly escalating administrative violence\, and widespread anxiety\, a cast of performers are born from a murky collective unconscious into their own looping\, improvised movement cycles that lead\, perhaps inexplicably\, back into joyful\, muddy communion. \nInspired by literary references including Kaveh Akbar’s acclaimed Martyr! and Toni Morrison’s canonical Beloved一as well as ongoing conversations with local queer\, melanated\, and allied creatives一this contemporary dance project envisions a cosmic pull toward connection\, even when relief from everyday struggle feels inconceivable.
