On Saturday\, April 18\, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.\, Albuquerque residents can drive up to the North Lot at Balloon Fiesta Park\, where Solid Waste Management employees and volunteers will unload their items for them—making disposal easy and convenient. This event provides the community with a free\, environmentally friendly way to recycle e-waste\, keeping harmful materials out of landfills and protecting our local environment. \nE-waste\, such as old computers\, televisions\, printers\, and cell phones\, contains hazardous materials that can contaminate soil and water if not handled properly. By participating in this event\, residents can ensure their electronics are disposed of in a way that allows for safe recycling and reuse.
